Call for Posters


The Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research will be holding its 14th Annual Conference on 24 to 27 May 2026 at Conrad Singapore Orchard. PhD students are invited to submit high-quality papers for consideration in the poster sessions, which will be held on 25 and 26 May 2027. Please submit in PDF by completing the form below.

Things to Note

  • Presenter must have been a PhD student at the time of submission, including those who are not affiliated with ABFER.
  • Submissions can be a joint work with other scholars, researchers and PhD students. PhD students are also welcomed to submit their working papers to the conference Call for Papers.
  • The presenter must bring the roll-up poster, set up and attend the poster sessions in-person on 25 & 26 May at 5:00 pm.
  • The selection committee will select 12 to 16 papers. Only selected authors will be notified and the Committee’s decision is final.
  • Authors have to prepare the poster if their papers are selected. Guidelines on poster preparation will be provided.
  • Three prizes will be awarded after the poster sessions:
    • Best poster: S$500
    • 1st Runner-up: S$300
    • 2nd Runner-up: S$200

Submission Requirements

  • All submissions must be prepared as a PDF and must include the following information in the first three (3) pages of the document:
    • Corresponding author’s name and email address
    • Full list of authors
    • Email address for each author
    • Affiliation for each author (institution or organisation)
    • Abstract
    • Keywords
  • Please ensure the author names, emails and affiliations are clearly associated with one another (e.g. using a grouped author block).
  • Papers that do not present all the above information in the first three pages may be considered incomplete and could be excluded from selection.
  • A paper may be submitted to multiple programs if it is suitable for more than one program.

Sponsorship and Fees

  • A sponsorship of S$1,000 will be provided to one presenter for each accepted poster.
  • The sponsorship is applicable only for overseas delegate and will be reimbursed after the conference. Airfare or hotel receipts must be provided as supporting documents
